Proposal for Debate at Annual General Meeting
As you will have seen from the paper newsletter, the Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 13th September at 6:30pm at Harrison School.
The Committee has received the following proposal for debate:
In view of the fact that trees and hedging have not been adequately managed for over twenty years on the communal land around the properties in Coghlan Close, we propose the following:
the removal of overhanging branches intruding into properties;
the lowering of the height of trees to a more appropriate level;
prioritisation of cutting of the hedging at the Coghlan Close end of the communal land, as this has seldom been undertaken in recent years, including the reinstatement and maintenance of a gap between the hedges and properties to prevent damage to fencing;
these items to be managed regularly within the maintenance schedule for the communal land.
Proposed: James O’Brien
Seconded: Alan Carrington
